Establish safe work procedures which will minimise any likelihood of an operator receiving an electric shock. Everyone involved in the operation needs to be fully conversant with those procedures, the reasons for them and the correct course of action in the event of an emergency. Make sure all team members are proficient in emergency resuscitation.
